We have achieved Safety Committee Certification by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for meeting the requirements set forth under the Pennsylvania Worker's Compensation Act, Article X, for establishing and maintaining an effective workplace safety committee. We are also a member of the STARS Safe Company Program through PLANET, the Professional Landcare Network.

The mission of our safety committee at Detailed Environments, Inc. is to work together as a team to identify and eliminate or properly control hazards in the workplace, by increasing awareness and administering rules, thus avoiding accidents and increasing the safety of our employees.

Safety policies and procedures are discussed during orientation at the beginning of each new season, and are reiterated throughout the year with monthly tailgate talks and additional training as needed. Our safety committee, consisting of representatives from all departments, meets monthly to discuss any incidents, concerns, to execute solutions to existing problems, and to follow up to make sure solutions have been properly implemented.

We take safety very seriously and will not tolerate disregard for safety practices. The health and safety of our employees are of major concern to us, and we understand that the success of our safety program depends on each and every one of us.
