Phil Ring
Owner/President
Phil, an entrepreneur with a solid work ethic instilled in him by his father and over 30 years experience in landscaping, founded Detailed Environments, Inc., with the sole intention to provide for his family and the families of those he employs. His trusted instincts and dedication to this goal are what have made him and his company successful beyond expectations.
Phil's innate enterprising spirit was sparked in adolescence when he earned his way financially by mowing lawns and shoveling snow for neighbors. In his late teens, he began with a major landscaping firm and worked his way up from maintenance and construction laborer, crew leader, supervisor, and field trainer to corporate liaison. He earned numerous "top gun" awards for production and installation. Phil attended Wharton School of Business early in his career while investing long hours in the field to the point of full emersion, and today values his on the job and life experiences as an education second to none.
Naturally athletic, Phil enjoys various sports and is an avid runner, with several marathon races on his list of personal accomplishments. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, and going to rock concerts.
Daune Ring

Daune's highly efficient systems of organization and knowledge gained through years of varied office work experience is the foundation of which Phil's technical skill set has been supported since the company began. She has a degree in Journalism/PR from West Virginia University and an Administrative Professional Certification through Katherine Gibbs School. While her first job out of college was as a crew leader with a major landscaping company, she worked in the fields of advertising, publishing, education and real estate prior to nurturing the Detailed Environments, Inc. seed. A devoted wife, mother, and business partner, she recently emerged as an artist by cultivating her own natural creative abilities.
Jesus Melecio
Maintenance Production Supervisor/Training Specialist
Jesus has been with Detailed Environments since the company's inception in 1991, and a landscaper for most of his life. As a young boy, he began carving this path for himself by tilling the soil on his family's farm in Mexico, and by the time he was a teen, he found himself behind the wheel of a truck working for a major landscaping company. Along with his candor with clients and co-workers, Jesus' success is attributed to his "CAN DO" attitude and his love to get things done. His gift to lead by example and learn through experience makes him the top Training Specialist within Detailed Environments, Inc., showing crewmembers how to perform various tasks, rather than just telling them. Jesus holds certifications in concrete paving installation and retaining walls. His passions include being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Deb Husted
Landscape Architecture and Design/Marketing and Sales
Deb's journey to Detailed Environments began well over 15 years ago. After four years of pursuing her passion for fine arts and graphic design, Deb found her calling in the field of landscaping. This new interest led her to Temple University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture. With an artistic background and a hands-on work ethic, landscape architecture was a perfect fit. Her post-college years were submerged with the high demand of residential design. After a decade of dedication to clients on a residential level, Deb expanded her talents and took on the global challenges of commercial-based landscape architecture. In 2005 she joined the D.E.I. team where her passion and enthusiasm for landscaping could shine.
She shares this excitement with her college sweetheart, Construction Department partner and husband of ten years, Dan. When Deb does not have a drafting pen in her hand, she is devoting her time and energy to both her family and to her extensive philanthropic work. She strongly believes in “paying it forward” and is a big supporter of, as well as advocate for, several organizations dear to her heart. She supports the education and awareness of Sensory Integration Disorder, Kidney disease, Melanoma research, Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, The USO and U.S. Armed Forces organizations, and the Special Olympics.
